This website, edmodo.com is a great tool for teachers, schools, and students to utilize. This website is an interactive database that allows teachers to upload content, share information with students and colleagues, send out reminders about assignments, and many more functions. This site is a great tool to use in the classroom because it allows the teacher to fully integrate technology into the classroom, as demonstrated in the video, comparing the program with the effects of osmosis. I could use this in my classroom to create more learning opportunities using the internet and other technological sources for the students.

The article this week "If I Teach This Way, Am I Doing My Job?" by Debra Sprague and Christopher Dede, gave a great insight into the use and fears of constructivism in the classroom. This article is a great tool to use later when developing my philosophy of education. It discusses the amany ways that the constructivist teaching method can be very beneficial to students and to a classroom environment, it also sheds light on the potential negatives that teachers may see.
